L.A.D.O.S. are always looking to recruit new members. We welcome singers, actors, dancers, backstage and technical staff - it is the combined efforts of everyone in the society that make our shows possible. The following information should help to give you an idea of our rehearsal schedule.

Rrehearsals are held at The Priory Hall (off Castle Hill) [Google Map / Multimap], Lancaster, each Monday and Thursday evenings starting at 7.30p.m. and usually finishing around 10.00p.m. with a short break for refreshments. We understand that our rehearsal location may be tricky to find for new members, but if you approach Castle Hill from the G.P.O. end and go past the Tourist Information Office, then turn right down the alley immediately before the Indian Restaurant. Follow this alley down until you see a building in front of you, then turn right and you will see the entrance ahead of you. As you enter the building, turn left and enter the main hall through the double doors on your left.

Dancing rehearsals are normally held on Wednesday evenings at a pre-arranged time at the Priory Hall.

There may also be some Sunday afternoon rehearsals for about 3 – 4 weeks immediately prior to show week, depending on the nature of the chosen show.

Membership is currently £20.00 per annum, and is payable within 30 days of commencement of rehearsals.
